Popular South Korean actors Ahn Hyoseop and Lee Minho will be coming to Singapore on 29 July. The pair will be joined by director Kim Byung Woo to promote their upcoming fantasy action thriller, Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy. More details on their visit will be announced at a later date.
Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy is based on the popular South Korean web novel and webtoon Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint. It follows Kim Dokja (Ahn Hyoseop), an ordinary office worker and dedicated sole reader of the fantasy web novel, Three Ways to Survive in a Ruined World.
On the day that the novel concludes its decade-long run, Dokja’s life takes an ominous turn as his reality morphs and transforms into the novel’s universe. As the only person who is aware of its plot and ending, Dokja attempts to navigate the apocalyptic setting alongside the novel’s protagonist, Yoo Junghyeok (Lee Minho), who is destined to save the world.
Joined by a group of trustworthy allies, Dokja and Junghyeok embark on a treacherous journey to alter destiny and save the world from its demise.
Ahn Hyoseop is most famously known for his roles in Dr. Romantic and Business Proposal. Meanwhile, Lee Minho is widely regarded as one of South Korea’s biggest stars, having appeared in works such as The King: Eternal Monarch and Pachinko. The film also stars Chae Soobin, Shin Seungho, After School’s Nana, and Blackpink’s Jisoo.
Ahn Hyoseop and Lee Minho will be coming to Singapore on 29 July to promote their new movie, Omniscient Reader: The Prophecy. Stay tuned for where the meet and greet will be held!
