We can’t deny that we are a food nation where many Singaporeans pride themselves with our knowledge on local food. Homegrown jewellery brand, By Invite Only has released a bucket bag featuring some of Singaporeans’ favourite food to celebrate the upcoming National Day. In lieu of National Day that’s now happening on 21 August 2021, By Invite Only previously asked their Instagram followers to answer a patriotic question : “Tell me you’re a girl living in Singapore without telling me you’re a girl living in Singapore”.
Without a doubt, many of them shared food-related answers and it cemented Singaporeans’ unwavering connection with food.
As such, By Invite Only decided to work on a community-designed bag that features many of Singapore’s local delights such as bubble tea, tutu kueh and chicken rice. These are familiar food items that many can relate to on a daily basis.
The illustrations are designed by local artist, Tiffany Lovage, who is known for her artwork and creativity.

It retails at $29 but you can also get it for free if you spend a minimum of $80 on their other items.
