No matter if it’s acting, singing or dancing, Korean actor-idol Cha Eun-Woo can do it all. While the ASTRO member is known for being a brand ambassador of luxury brands such as Dior and Burberry, this August 2023, Cha Eun-Woo has also been appointed as Subway’s new ambassador.
The best part for AROHAs, aka ASTRO fans? Four exclusive photocards will be available from now until October 2023 to add to your Cha Eun-Woo collection.
The news of Cha Eun-Woo as Subway’s newest brand ambassador might not be a surprise to AROHAs who have been closely following the idol.
Earlier in June 2023, Subway Korea teased a photo of their upcoming brand ambassador on their Instagram page. Many fans managed to easily guess that it was Cha Eun-Woo, despite a part of his face being hidden.
Subway’s partnership with Cha Eun-Woo also comes with a new sandwich series — the Subway Melt Series. From 16 August 2023 onwards, customers can get their hands on three new subs: Pizza Melt, NYC Beef Meatball Supreme and California Avocado Club.
With every purchase of any Subway Melt Series combo meal, AROHAs can redeem a limited edition Cha Eun-Woo photocard. There are four variations in total, ranging from him posing with finger hearts to cheek hearts. Each design is only available for two weeks, from now until 10 October 2023.
But that’s not all — fans also have to mention a special pick-up line to the cashier in order to redeem the photocards. This passcode will be announced every two weeks across Subway’s social platforms.
We’ll share the very first one here — “Want to know the best way to my heart? Subway.”
And of course, a photocard isn’t complete without the idol’s signature on it, along with the pick-up line of that particular period.
Don’t forget to snap pictures with your fave oppa before leaving, as each Subway store also features a life-sized cut out of Cha Eun-Woo. He’s even dressed in Subway’s iconic green uniform — ready to serve both looks and a piping hot sandwich.
The Subway Melt Series will be available in all Subway stores islandwide, with each meal retailing at $10.50. As the subs and photocards are here for a limited-time only, you can also hop onto the K-pop fandom trend of snapping a photo of your Cha Eun-Woo photocards together with your meal.
