Korean R&B star DEAN to perform in Singapore
Westies, add this to your festive agenda: in celebration of One Holland Village’s first anniversary, South Korean R&B star DEAN will perform at the mall’s Christmas Light Up Event on 29 November, from 6pm to 9pm.
DEAN, whose real name is Kwon Hyuk, has been a transformative figure in the Korean R&B and hip-hop scenes.
Since his 2015 debut, DEAN has captivated audiences with his distinctive vocals and eclectic sound that fuses R&B, hip-hop, and electronic elements. His 2016 debut EP, “130 Mood: TRBL,” brought us memorable tracks like “D (Half Moon)” and “Bonnie & Clyde,” securing his status as a genre pioneer.
DEAN’s performance will be backgrounded by the lighting up of a 10m tall Christmas tree, starring decorations with all your favourite LINE FRIENDS mascots.
Meet and greet LINE FRIENDS’ Brown and Cony
DEAN’s performance is the cherry on top of the One Holland Village Light Up Event, but that’s not all visitors can look forward to.
As mentioned, the festive affair is also brought to life with LINE FRIENDS. Spend $50 in a single receipt the same day and enjoy a meet and greet opportunity with two of LINE FRIENDS’ signature mascots, Brown and Cony.
Enjoy a Christmas market
Christmas markets are popping up around town this month, and One Holland Village is no exception. From 29 November to 29 December, the mall will play host to a Christmas Market, decked with shops from local eateries and artisans. Whether you just want to soak up the yuletide vibe or shop for last-minute gifts, there’s something for every whim at this market.

Collect limited edition minini blind boxes
LINE FRIENDS’ minini—a range of small, adorable characters—are also a key theme for the Light Up Event. Aside from adorable minini decor bringing on the festive cheer, fans of the series can collect exclusive minini blind box plushies.
There are four plushie designs to choose from: lenini the frog, selini the duck, bnini the brown bear, and conini the white rabbit.
To redeem a blind box, just shop at any Far East Mall and spend a minimum of $150 in a single day, across up to 3 approved receipts. FYI, you have to be a shopFarEast member to nab these plushies.
From 8 November to 29 December 2024, shoppers can sign up as a shopFarEast member and collect their blind boxes at designated collection points within the malls, while stocks last.
