Now that many Singaporeans are heading back to their office for work, commutes are a daily occurence yet again. And to make your travelling less sian, there are now new Doraemon EZ-Link cards that feature CNY designs to help you soak in the festive spirit.

Available in two options, either one will remind you of good fortune every time you tap in and out. Read on to find out more about them.

The EZ-Link cards

For extra huat and prosperity, both EZ-Link cards come in red ‒ an auspicious colour for the approaching festive season. Since the EZ-Link cards are CNY-themed, they are also on point when you do house visits during the CNY period.

No worries if you don’t own a zhao cai mao at home, as you can make use of this EZ-Link card as a replacement. Filled with motifs of ingots and coins, the EZ-Link card features Doraemon sitting comfortably while dressed up as a fortune cat. Who knows – this might actually bring you some fortune luck in the Year of the Tiger.

Bringing you happiness is the other EZ-Link card where you’ll find Doraemon and friends dressed in traditional Chinese clothes. Each character is wearing a different outfit and in the middle, you’ll see the Chinese character fu aka happiness. Plus, there are also tiny motifs of flowers that serve as a reminder that Spring is coming soon.

To get them, you can purchase each card at $10 with no load value at EZ-Link vending machines located at Bishan Junction 8, Bugis Junction, Tampines Mall and Westgate.
