Sentosa Has Eevee Dance Parades & Adventure Missions For Pokémon Trainers Seeking Their Next Quest

Eevee Dance Parade

If you’ve been following Pokémon for a while now, you might be familiar with Japan’s dancing Pikachu parades, aka over a thousand Pikachu mascots dancing in a row. Last year, Sentosa island’s Sanrio lights event featured a Pikachu Night Parade, which was the first to be held outside of Japan.

If you missed out last year, not to worry. Singaporeans can now experience an Eevee version this December instead, including games and prizes to be won at Sentosa.

Over the weekends from 10 to 12 and 17 to 19 December 2021, Pokémon fans can catch the first edition of the Eevee Dance Parade at Palawan Green. Not only can you sip on beach cocktails with bae, but you’ll be able to watch these furry Eevees marching against the sunset for 30 minutes, twice a day from 7pm to 8.30pm.

Picture this: you’re out doing your Christmas shopping and a cluster of Eevees march beside you to do a little dance. Sounds like the dream for any Pokémon trainer, I’m sure.

If you’re going to travel via VTL during December, you don’t have to worry about missing out on this exclusive event since there will be showcases in 2022 as well. The second edition of the show features Eevee wearing ponchos that represent each of its 8 Eevee-lutions.

Whether your favourite is the newest fairy-type Sylveon or the one of the original fire-type evolutions, Flareon, this is every trainer’s moment to catch ‘em all. The Eevee Dance Parade with Evolution Poncho will take place from the end of January to February 2022.

For Sentosa Islander members who can’t wait until the 10th, you can be the first to catch a preview of the parade on 9 December 2021. Spend a minimum of $15 from any retail outlet, attraction, hotel, or food and beverage establishment on Sentosa island to register for 2 free tickets.

For the general public, viewing both the Dance Parade and Evolution Poncho will require a minimum spending of $15 for 1 ticket. A single receipt with a spending of at least $30 or 2 separate receipts of at least $15 each will qualify for 2 tickets.

Safe distancing remains the priority, so make sure to register for an electronic ticket to the parades on Sentosa’s Telegram chatbot. Registration for the first parade will begin at 10am on 2 December 2021, while the second on 14 January 2022.

Eevee Adventure Mission

In the spirit of catching them all, Sentosa guests can also participate in a digital Eevee Adventure Mission from 29 January to 20 February 2022 and learn more about Pokémon.

Take up the challenge by answering questions and fulfilling special missions within the game platform. That’s not all you can also stand a chance to redeem exciting prizes such as adorable Eevee plushies to cuddle with while you sleep.

Don’t forget to keep a memento of this event by taking some selfies with a six-metre-tall inflatable Eevee or purchase a variety of Pokémon merch at a special pop-up.

Additionally, from 15 January to 15 February 2022, look out for these special Eevee stickers located around Singapore. Snap a photo of them, upload to the ‘gram and tag @sentosa_island with #EeveeAdventures to stand a chance to win more special prizes.
