Replicating the green “fa cai” tile, the charm’s character means “rich and lucky,” so you can usher in the upcoming Lunar New Year with extra huat.
The Mahjong LED SimplyGo EZ-Link Charm works just like any other EZ-Link card, and is available for purchase at all EZ-Link vending machines across Singapore. What’s special about this mahjong charm is that it lights up every time you tap it while entering MRT stations and boarding buses.
You can also pair the charm with your EZ-Link app for easier top–up and to collect reward points. EZ-Link’s mahjong charm is priced at $20.90 each with no load value and is available for purchase at EZ-Link vending machines around Singapore. You can activate it at any General Ticketing Machine and it will be valid for up to three years.
As we could all use some extra blessings during the CNY season, the EZ-Link mahjong tile charm will double up as a lucky charm during your upcoming “dry swimming sessions”. You might want to hurry to get your hands on one though, as they’re fast selling out at many locations.
