Gear up Singaporeans, Formula 1 Grand Prix (F1) weekend is upon us again, with races starting on 20 September 2024. There’s no denying that the international motorsport competition has gotten way more popular in the past few years thanks to Netflix’s Drive To Survive series, which takes viewers through a behind-the-scenes look at each F1 season.
In particular, the series features interviews with most of the grid’s notable drivers, sparking fan interest in the racer’s personal lives. TikTok, especially, is abuzz with scrutiny over the driver’s romantic tangles. Who are the F1 drivers dating? Who are the wives and girlfriends (WAGs) of these F1 drivers? Max Verstappen’s girlfriend
What is it like to date one of most decorated drivers in F1 history? Well, the German-born Brazilian model Kelly Piquet can tell you. The 35-year-old has been dating 26-year-old Max Verstappen for 4 years now and is often spotted cheering him on at the circuit. Like Max, Kelly is no stranger to the race life either—her father is Nelson Piquet, a retired F1 driver. Outside of her WAG duties, Kelly is a model, columnist, and public relations executive.
Fun fact: she used to date the Russian F1 driver, Daniil Kyvat, who had stints in Red Bull Racing and Toro Rosso (now AlphaTauri).
Charles Leclerc’s girlfriend
Sorry all, Charles Leclerc is taken, and very happy, thank you. The Monégasque Ferrari driver is a favourite amongst female fans of the sport thanks to his good looks, but the only person getting a slice of that is his girlfriend, Alexandra Saint Mleux. The 22-year-old TikTok influencer also hails from Monaco, and has been hitched to Charles since 2023.

Carlos Sainz’s girlfriend
After splitting from his Spanish girlfriend of 7 years, Carlos Sainz has moved on to date Scottish model, Rebecca Donaldson. The former Top Model UK contestant was spotted with Carlos in 2023, and they’ve been at it since. 23-year-old McLaren driver, Oscar Piastri, has been attached to his girlfriend, Lily Zneimer, since they were 17! They met during boarding school in England as teens, and have been together since. Unlike the other F1 girlfriends, Lily is relatively lowkey. She doesn’t have a public Instagram account, for one. In interviews, Oscar has also said she’s very down-to-earth and keeps him humble.

Red Bull Racing’s Sergio Perez is one of the rare few married men on the grid. He’s been together with Carola Martinez since they were in their 20s, with most of their relationship spent out of the limelight. The couple were married in 2018, after the birth of their first son. Marilou and the billionaire heir have been dating since December last year, after his split with Sara Pagliaroli. Marilou pairs her busy modelling career with social media influencing, where she frequently works with clothing brands to design collabs.

French Alpine driver, Pierre Gasly, has been with his girlfriend, Kika Cerqueira Gomes, since late 2022. The 21-year-old Portuguese model and influencer is daughter to news anchor and a former racecar driver, making her no stranger to the limelight and the grid. The couple recently introduced a new member to their family: a poodle pup named Simba.

Danish Haas stalwart, Kevin Magnussen, has been with his wife Louise Gjorup, since 2015. Today, the couple has two daughters, Laura and Agnes. Valtteri Bottas’ girlfriend
If you’re wondering why Valtteri Bottas has been going hard on Strava the past couple of years, well, look no further than Tiffany Cromwell. The Finnish Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber driver has been dating the Australian road cyclist since 2020, and the two often go on long rides together. The 36-year-old Aussie WAG has been cycling professionally since 2002, and currently races for the German pro women’s team, Canyon-SRAM.
