Give yourself a pat on the back – you’ve made it to the second month of 2023. If you’re already feeling drained from all your commitments, it’s time to wind down, recharge and pamper yourself with Fairmont Singapore’s new Van Gogh-themed high tea at Anti:dote. Available from 3 March to 1 May 2023, the set is filled with sweet and savoury treats inspired by artwork pieces.
Similar to the Christmas-themed high tea set Fairmont had last year, all the treats come in a white three-tiered drawer chest, with each goodie nestled comfortably in their respective drawers.
Make sure to snap some pics of these picturesque and vibrant pastries decked in yellow, green, and blue colours for the ’gram. To add to the art theme, some bites take shape in the form of easels and miniature tables, looking almost too pretty to eat.
Indulge in works of art in the first drawer such as the sunflower-shaped praline pot and a painted cookie cheesecake on an easel. Painstakingly decorated with intricate details and sunflower designs, you can find pops of colour among these sweet treats to enhance your experience.
In the next drawer, chow down on some savoury finger sandwiches, with the likes of smoked salmon and pork bulgogi. Next, enveloped in a white sheet are raisin scones, coming with flavour choices of lemon curd, strawberry marmalade, and clotted cream to eat them with. There are also flower-shaped treats that you can pick up from a mini table, served with the drawer itself.
Additionally, check out two different amuse bouche options from Anti:dote’s menu here to start off your session.
Not only do the tasty delectables give off Sunflower by Van Gogh vibes, even the chio interior of Anti:dote matches the theme.
Sunflower paintings and decorations adorn the walls, while fresh sunflowers are laid around the restaurant. As a finishing touch, a replica of the actual painting has also been hung on the wall, so you can fool your followers into thinking you’re in a museum overseas. Additionally, there is also a set-up with various props for you to get some pictures to remember your experience.
You can also heighten your high tea experience with a special cocktail or mocktail made to suit the theme – the yellow drinks are topped with sunflower seeds for an extra kick. That’s not all – choose from a selection of TWG teas to accompany your meal as well.
If you’re on a girls’ day out and want to keep the booze flowing, there are free-flow refills available for 2 hours, which will set you back $75++ per person for Laurent Perrier Brut, or $90++ for Moët & Chandon Rosé Impérial.
The Season of Impressionists high tea set is priced at $58++ per person, with the addition of one or two amuse bouche leading up to $70++ and $75++ respectively.
If you’re bringing the little ones along, it will be $40 per pax for them. Not to fret – the high tea offers a Children’s Afternoon Tea Set as well, with drink choices of iced chocolate and apple juice.
Jio your friends for this relaxing and delicious experience – rather than art gallery outings, you’ll actually be able to taste the artworks this time.
The high tea is available daily from 12pm to 2pm and 3pm to 5pm from 3 March to 1 May 2023. If you’re interested in heading down for Van Gogh’s Sunflowers-inspired experience, remember to make a reservation on Fairmont Singapore’s official website to book a slot, or call 6431 6156 or email dining.singapore@fairmont.com.
