Free Fitness Classes & Events
As we enter the next quarter of 2018, many of us may find our lives getting increasingly hectic as work, school and other commitments start piling up.
While it’s important to take breaks and treat yourself once in a while, we should never neglect our physical and mental health.
If you’ve yet to start on your 2018 fitness goals, April is as good a time as any. And if you’re not willing to splurge on gym memberships, then check out these free fitness events happening this April.
Single Trial Classes
1. Platinum Yoga Trial Class
If you’ve never tried yoga before, this trial class by Platinum Yoga is a great place to start. Let experienced instructors guide you through basic positions and work on your strength and flexibility.

2. Fight G Martial Arts Trial Classes
Feel like the next karate kid when you try your hand at one of these martial arts. From boxing to Muay Thai, Nogi and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Fight G offers one free trial class for anyone, regardless of their gender, fitness and experience level.

3. Tabata Trial Class
If you’re the kind of person who wants results ASAP, head down to the Mahota commune to try out their trial Tabata class. With eight rounds of HIIT exercises, you’ll surely burn off a ton of calories in no time.

4. JUMP Master Revolution – CoreMaster1
Hop to the beat of dance music in this intensive cardio jump rope trial class by Jump Master Revolution. Aside from pumping up your heart rate, jumping rope can also strengthen your core and improve your hand-eye coordination.
If you enjoy the trial session, there’s a one-time registration fee of S$45 and subsequent classes are S$15 per session.

5. Dance-Cardio Workout @ Paya Lebar
If you’re trying to get back into an exercise groove, find a like-minded workout buddy to keep you on track at this low-impact dance-cardio session. All participants are provided with free sports drinks and will receive a wellness evaluation.

6. Run Free Singapore 2018
Start your Saturday morning strong when you participate in Run Free Singapore 2018. One of the only free local marathon events, you can choose to participate in the 5km or 10km race categories depending on your fitness levels.

7. Zumba at Breadtalk IHQ
This low-intensity cardio activity combines elements of dance such as hip-hop and salsa so you can move your hips to the beat of Latin music without feeling out of breath.

8. Pure Fitness X Takashimaya Urban Challenge

9. Ace Dream Sports Fiesta 2.0
