For those who travel to Korea often, you may be familiar with the endless self-photo booth studios that are everywhere along popular shopping streets. Luckily for Singaporeans, the photo booth hype has reached our shores too, with more self-photo studios opening in malls.
But if you’re wondering how you can zhng up your photos, One Click Studio now has a unique new feature. Introducing the wide angle photo booth studio that looks just like that Gen Z 0.5 lens selfie trend — now you’ll never complain about boring pictures again.
For the uninitiated, the 0.5 selfie trend, also known as the “Gen Z selfie”, is a wide lens photo of yourself taken with your phone’s back camera set to 0.5x lens. These selfies give off a more casual and quirky vibe as compared to the standard front camera selfie.
One Click Studio now offers this feature with their professional camera, so you can snap photos of a similar vibe in a high angle — all while hands free.
One Click Studio also has a range of fun props to add a pop of personality to your photos, such as coloured sunglasses and cute headbands.
Before snapping your pictures, choose between a range of unique frames, such as square or fish-eye lens. Experiment with new poses taken from a top-down angle, and pick a filter to finish off your prints. The photos will be available as both hard and soft copies.
The wide angle photo booth studio is only available at $10 per session, and One Click Studio also has an exclusive collab for those who can’t wait to head down with their BFFs ASAP. For every $80 spent at REDRMG, a handmade clothing store in Singapore, customers will be able to redeem a free wide angle photo booth session.
This promotion is only available from now until 31 July 2023.
If you want to make full use of your time at One Click Studio, they offer both photo booth and photo studio options to suit your preferences. The photo booth has machine-based equipment with limited timer and shots, whereas the photo studio offers high-quality camera equipment with a self-clicker.
The photo booth option is more similar to those commonly found in Korea, with quick pictures, cute frames and GIFs.
TBH, One Click Studio’s wide angle photo booth reminds me of Don’t Lxxk Up, a popular studio in Korea with a similar concept. If you’ve always been eyeing this studio, now you don’t have to fly all the way to Korea just to experience it.
As One Click Studio is Singapore’s first wide angle photo booth studio, we’re hoping that more unique concepts will make its way to our Little Red Dot too.
Located just a short walk away from Bugis MRT, the studio is a convenient stop in town where you can make memories with bae. Head over to their Instagram page for more information.
For more date ideas near Bugis MRT, Woofie’s Warehouse is a vintage thrift store nearby that offers everything for $10 only.
