Among all the Disney princesses, the story of Cinderella always interested me as a kid because of her pair of glass slippers. In collaboration with the upcoming Cinderella movie premiering on Amazon, Onitsuka Tiger takes the role of your Fairy Godmother by launching a pair of Cinderella Sneakers that promises both glam and comfort.
The story of Cinderella proves that a pair of shoes can change your life, and this pair of Cinderella Sneakers can change your OOTD game instead – or even become your sole-mate.
Taking the form of Onitsuka Tiger’s P-Trainer Przm, the sneaker comes with a layer of prismatic rainbow exterior that is hard to miss. The holographic layer has a glossy effect that reminds us of Cinderella’s glass slippers ‒ a modern take on the fairy tale.
Likewise, the sneaker’s platform sole also grabs our attention. It is decorated with Onitsuka Tiger’s signature stripe and the thick sole provides mobility and absorbs shock. That way, if you happen to be rushing home because of a midnight curfew, you can be assured to get back on time with ease.
Making you feel like royalty is the tiara motif from the Cinderella movie found on the heel top and the shoe tongue label.
Also, don’t miss out on Onitsuka Tiger’s logo and the movie title etched on both the shoe tongue label and insole. On the left insole, you will find Onitsuka Tiger’s logo and on the right, the insole reads “Cinderella”.
Completing the magical details is a special shoebox that features the illustrations of tiaras put together to form a gown.
The round shoebox also makes it a novelty item, suitable as a storage box for accessories or a unique home decor.
Onitsuka Tiger will only be releasing 800 pairs of the Cinderella Sneakers starting in September. You can purchase them by visiting selected Onitsuka Tiger outlets worldwide or through their official online store and the official Amazon Japan website.
If you’re planning to catch the upcoming Cinderella movie starring Camila Cabello as Cinderella, you can stream it exclusively on Amazon Prime Video starting from 3 September 2021.
