If you POP MART fans thought your wallets could catch a break after the opening of their biggest POP MART outlet at ION Orchard, think again. The POP Toy Show, Asia’s top toy exhibition, is returning to Singapore this year with an exciting lineup. The exhibition is a collaboration between POP MART and ActionCity.
The 3-day event will feature 50 different artists, toy designers and international toy brands. It will be held from 23 August to 25 August at the Marina Bay Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Level 1, Halls A, B & C. Admission tickets are priced from $28 for a 1-day ticket to $68 for a 3-day ticket. Visitors can also purchase tickets for a group of 4 at $98 per day.
This year’s exhibition is headlined by the character Dimoo, with the theme, “Dimoo In The Garden City”. Avid Dimoo fans, be sure to head down as not only can you meet Ayan Deng, the artist behind Dimoo, you can also get your hands on a few Dimoo POP Toy Show exclusives. Additionally, there will also be a life-sized sculpture of Dimoo, so be sure to snap many pictures.
Meet other artists from POP MART’s Pop Design Centre who will be there for meet-and-greet sessions with their fans. Lang, the man behind Hirono and Yuki, Ling, the creator of Sweet Bean, as well as Yumi, who is behind Pino Jelly, will all be in attendance.
Other POP Toy Show 2024 exclusives include the “Hacipupu Make A Grimace” as well as the “Hirono x Polar Coexistence” figure. For the Labubu fans, the “Zimomo Silhouettes” will also make their debut at the POP Toy Show in Singapore.
Aside from getting your hands on the POP MART exclusives, there will also be over 91 participating brands and artists from over 20 countries at the event.
Well-known for his character TEQ63 and his collaborations with brands like Jollibee, Filipino artist Quiccs, will be there to showcase his latest work. Local artists like byjolyn and tastytoastys will also have their works and merchandise displayed. Keep your eyes peeled for fortune telling and jagua tattoo booths as well!
Singapore is the only country outside China to host the renowned POP Toy Show. From exclusive figurines to captivating exhibitions and displays, this is surely an event not to be missed by POP MART fans. Tickets are now available online at Ticketmaster so grab them before they’re gone!
