A mainstay event during Pride Month, Pink Dot is back for its 17th edition, which will be held on 28 June at Hong Lim Park. This year is a special one, though, because a communal time capsule will be created in 2025.
Members of the queer community and allies are encouraged to share a small personal item that represents what love means to them by 12 June, to be sealed and reopened in 2050 for the next generation of LGBTQIA+ Singaporeans.
Pro tip for the event day: make sure to bring a fan and a picnic mat to beat the heat and have a comfy time that day. Most importantly, don’t forget to wear something pink!
