Photo studios have evolved greatly over the years. In the past, people booked studios for professional purposes, such as graduation or family photos. Now, with the rise of more unique photo booths, more people are turning towards fun and casual shots to look back on as a fond memory.
To add another to the list, Say Chunkie! Studio in Singapore has a space-inspired backdrop for fun photoshoots, complete with handmade space guns and alien costumes.
It’s impossible to miss out on Say Chunkie! Studio’s bright pink door, located inside an industrial building at Aljunied. Apart from the ethereal planet-inspired backdrop, guests can strike a pose inside the green spacecraft positioned in the middle.
Get fully immersed in the space theme with fun props such as helmets, alien costumes and funky sunglasses. According to Say Chunkie! Studio’s Instagram page, they “welcome all species”, so rest assured that you won’t be judged for going full out in your alien poses.
Starting from $50 for 1 pax to $170 for 5 pax, the studio welcomes customers of all ages to have fun and explore their creativity. Each package includes 30 minutes of photo taking and 15 minutes of photo selection, as well as eight digital copies to take home.
For groups larger than five, it’s an additional $30 add-on per pax, and customers have to contact the studio to make a booking. There’s an exception for pets and babies though, as they get to shoot for free.
FYI, this space-themed photo booth is only available from now until 13 August 2023. Say Chunkie! Studio is a seasonal photo booth that changes its theme every few months — past themes include a vintage backdrop for National Gallery Singapore and a giant fish bench for Chinese New Year.
