It’s the 50th anniversary of everyone’s fave mouthless kitty this year, which means fans of the Sanrio icon are eating well. Themed collabs with brands in Singapore are rampant at the moment—see Anothersole’s Hello Kitty sneakers—and there are no signs of slowing. Next up, we have a very cutesy line-up of Starbucks Hello Kitty merchandise to look forward to, launching on 10 September.
The collection features 13 merch items, as well as exclusive themed food and drink items.
Obv, you’re here for the merch, so here’s what you can expect.
Naturally, all Starbucks collaborations include limited edition drinkware, so you can expect their thermal mugs and bottles, tumblers, and regular mugs all sporting Hello Kitty motifs. The classic Starbucks mug is exceptionally cute, as it’s shaped to look like the character’s head.
The collection will also include much more than just drinkware. Starbucks is jumping on the POP MART blind box wave with their own mystery boxes, where you can get figurines of Hello Kitty and her friend, Tiny Chum. Naturally, these mini items feature emblems that nod to the cafe franchise.
There’s also a plushie, where the Sanrio character is dressed up like a ‘Bux barista. Key ring and phone charm lovers will be happy to know that accessories will be available as part of the collab. Finally, if you’re a cook, you can also buy a Hello Kitty Starbucks apron.
No word on prices yet, but we’ll keep you posted.

Come 10 September, you’ll also be able to enjoy a line-up of apple-themed drinks and food items at the franchise’s cafes. Apples are Hello Kitty’s fave food, so naturally, the F&B items pay homage to her. There will be an Apple Pie Cream Frappuccino, as well as iced tea drinks and more. Each drink comes adorned with Kitty’s signature bow.
As we’ve mentioned, the items can be found at outlets islandwide next Tuesday, 10 September. We’ll update this post with the launch times as well!
