Halloween isn’t just about tricking, it’s also about treating. For both sweet and savoury treats this October, Tablescape restaurant has brought back their special Halloween-themed afternoon tea set for celebrators to enjoy.
With everything from Batman Beetroot Salad to Monster Cake Pops, this afternoon tea set is available from now till 31 October 2022 at Grand Park City Hall.
The menu has a wide variety of sweet treats to choose from, including Chocolate Web Hazelnut Éclairs and caramel and pumpkin Monster Cake Pops. The tea set also includes savoury bites such as a Batman Beetroot Salad and a nectarine and pistachio Foie Gras Tartlet.
If those don’t tickle your tastebuds enough, you can have some fun and customise some DIY mini chocolate cupcakes with your own design of candy floss.
For an additional treat, each tea set comes with fresh scones, with toppings of jam, clotted cream, and seaweed butter.
Don’t forget — it isn’t a complete afternoon tea without tea. Spill some with your kakis while you sip from cups of Clipper 1872 tea or coffee.
The limited-time afternoon tea experience is open for dine-in on Mondays to Fridays from 2.30pm to 4.30pm, while Saturdays and Sundays are from 3pm to 5pm.
Weekday tea sets retail at $78 while the weekend sets retail at $88. The weekend sets also include unlimited servings of flavoured iced mocktails, with options of ice earl grey citrus, passion tea-tini, ice plum green tea, and smoked tea and tonic. If you’re feeling fancy, top up your set with unlimited servings of Prosecco for ~$108 per set.
However, if you prefer to take your tea at home, Tablescape also offers takeaways and delivery from 2.30pm to 5pm daily, with orders required to be made at least 24 hours in advance.
The takeaway tea set retails at $78.
If you’re not going to Halloween Horror Nights this year, you can still celebrate Halloween by heading down to Grand Park City Hall Hotel for some treat-ing without the tricking. To book your table or order the set for delivery, visit Grand Park City Hall’s website.
