The Fullerton Hotel Purple Afternoon Tea

Every year, International Women’s Day is celebrated on 8 March to honour the achievements of women. Continue reading to find out more about this high tea experience.

The afternoon tea

Inspired by the official colour of International Women’s Day ‒ purple ‒ the Purple Afternoon Tea is literal to its name with an aesthetically-pleasing purple colour palette.

Expect a burst of flavours with bite-sized savouries like Dill-cured Norwegian salmon with caviar and sour cream on a paprika bagel, and Hickory-smoked duck tartlet with hoisin mayo and violet flower.

Also on the three-tier afternoon tea set are sweet treats like Mulberry choux, Raspberry citrus tart, and Elderberry macaron. Apart from these munchies, classic scones and raisin scones, clotted cream and jam are included too. For the full menu, you can visit their website here.

Bring the high tea experience to the next level by topping up an additional fee for a glass of non-alcoholic sangria, red or white wine, or Prosecco.

The Purple Afternoon Tea is priced at $51 per adult and $26 per child on weekdays, and $56 per adult and $28 per child on weekends and public holidays.

In addition to the Purple Afternoon Tea, The Fullerton Hotel has also released the Dancing Violette that is available for purchase till 31 March 2022.

It is a cake made with a combination of vanilla bean mousse, almond frangipane, orange chestnut and cassis crémeux. Plus, the ivory chocolate crunch provides extra texture, and the cake is completed with a ballerina topper.
