While Singapore has opened up various Vaccinated Travel Lanes aka VTL, not all can hop on board a plane for a holiday just yet. For those who miss heading overseas, Changi Airport Terminal 3 has a Tsum Tsum pop-up with a travel theme to temporarily relieve your travel bug.
Free for all to visit and available till 3 January 2022, read on to find out more about the Tsum Tsum pop-up.
The Tsum Tsum pop-up comes with 3 photo spots for you to pose for the ‘gram, and you’ll find the first at the Terminal 3 Departure Hall, opposite the link bridge to Jewel Changi Airport.
Inspired by a snow globe, the “Love Love Snow Globe” set-up lets you experience what it is like being “inside” one.
Not only does it have Christmas ornaments decorated on the outline of the snow globe, but it also has a snowy backdrop for a more surreal look.
Once you’re done at the snow globe, make your way to the “Love is in the Air” photo spot that is situated at Terminal 3 Departure Hall, next to Row 11.
Apart from the standard Tsum Tsum cut-outs, you’ll be greeted by 2 miniature aircraft ‒ reminiscent of the time when we actually got to board a plane. Plus, there are several arches decorated with Christmas ornaments that are perfect for cheeky poses with your besties.
Now that you’ve “travelled”, remember to pick up some souvenirs for your loved ones at the last photo spot called “Luggage of Love”. You can find it at Terminal 3 Basement 2, opposite Kopitiam.
It comes with a set-up similar to a luggage conveyor belt. In addition, there are also Tsum Tsum plushies and merchandise for you to take home.
For those looking to expand their Tsum Tsum collection, there are Tsum Tsum premiums that are exclusive to the pop-up at Changi Airport.
The 5-piece collection includes a sports bottle, tote bag, cooler bag, sports towel and Tigger cushion.
As they are perfect for outdoor activities, you can make them your go-to accessories when you head out for a run with your exercise crew.
You can get them at $8.90 each when you spend a minimum of $50 in a single receipt in the public area, including the supermarket and at Jewel Changi Airport. It also includes purchases made online on iShopChangi.com and Changi Eats. If you happen to be in the Transit Area, it would require spending of at least $100 instead.
Fans of Tsum Tsum would not want to miss this opportunity at Changi Airport Terminal 3 as the free pop-up will only be there till 2 January 2022. If you’re clearing leave it’s the perfect chance to head down with your bestie or kids.
