Christmas season always feels magical – all the twinkling lights, mouth-watering feasts and merry get-togethers. This season, together with UNIQLO, you can help to spread the magic to your friends, family and even strangers who could use a touch of yuletide spirit.
As part of their Gifts For All initiative, UNIQLO will be working together with Community Chest to provide Christmas gifts to over 2,021 young beneficiaries. Alongside that, they’ll also be transforming their Orchard store into a festive market filled with goodies and activities like DIY gift-making sessions.
Read on to find out more about UNIQLO Gifts For All happening from 1 December 2021 to 2 January 2021.
To stir up the festive mood, UNIQLO’s Orchard Central store will be utilised as a space to hold a festive season market. The market will host workshops and pop-up stores selling handcrafted bath and beauty products.
The Wallflower Bud, a local florist, will be conducting a wreath-making workshop on 18 and 19 December 2021. During the session, you’ll get to craft a unique preserved floral decoration that you can possibly gift to your loved one for Christmas.
The social enterprise, Singapore Fashion Runway, will also be holding a tissue-pouch making workshop on both 11 and 12 December 2021. After, there’ll also be a talk by the founder and a fashion showcase by their youth.
The pop-up stores include products from Wallflower Bud and Rough Beauty, a local bath and body brand. The stores will be open on weekends from 10 to 26 December 2021 and online as well – so you can purchase your presents from the safety of your home too.
Additionally, with $80 spent on a weekday, you’ll even receive a bar of handmade soap from Rough Beauty, while with $100 spent on weekends, you’ll get a free flower bauble from Wallflower Bud.
Other brands that will be hosting a pop-up include Amazin’ Graze which sells a variety of healthy snacks and food. You’ll also get a free festive snack pack with a minimum spend of $80 on both weekdays and weekends – the snack packs are the perfect carry-along energy booster for your Christmas shopping sprees.
Together with the snack pack, you’ll also get a free net tote which comes in a variety of colours. Whether you shop in stores or online, you’ll be able to collect the limited edition UNIQLO item between 10 to 26 December 2021 as long as you spend a minimum of $80 nett.
Aside from maroon, the bag also comes in Sage (left) and Earth (right) colours, so while you shop you’ll be looking chic with your new tote bag.
If you want to get something one-of-a-kind to gift to a friend, local artists Tiffany Lovage and Kenneth Seow will be launching a Bloom Where You Are Planted collection. The collection includes T-shirts that can be customised at the UTme! station on level 3 of the UNIQLO Orchard Central store.
Every purchase from the collection will also come with a free limited-edition sticker sheet with 6 hyperlocal stickers designed by the duo. Their UNIQLO Bloom Where You Are Planted stickers will have floral designs made to lift positivity and inspire.
And if you’ve decided to get other UNIQLO products as gifts, you can top-up $2 to your purchase to get these specially designed gift boxes so you won’t have to wrap the gifts on your own.
Alternatively, you can opt for a UNIQLO gift card to get as a secret Santa present or for that friend who’s a little picky with their clothing choices.
Finally, because everyone deserves a good Christmas, UNIQLO will be teaming up with Community Chest to provide gifts to 2,021 beneficiaries aged between 7 to 12 years old. From 1 December 2021, you can donate $5 in stores or online to get a gift between $12.90 to $14.90, like T-shirts and face masks, for the kids.
Each gift will be packed with a specially made gift card from BizLink, a non-profit organisation that provides training and employment for disadvantaged individuals. You’ll basically be acting as a secret Santa for all the young individuals with just a small donation.
This Christmas, it’s time to think about more than just what to add to your wishlist. With UNIQLO, you can make the season special for all your loved ones and other children who want to celebrate Christmas too. For online purchases, you can head to the UNIQLO website to make your orders or donations.
