Southeast Asian fashion brands have been popping off on social media of late. You’ll often see independent labels from the likes of Indonesia, Vietnam, the Philippines and beyond garner tons of buzz on TikTok, but here’s the catch: to cop the fits, you’ll probably have to board a plane, or wait ages for your Shopee delivery to come through. That’s not the case anymore though, thanks to With Love.
This Keong Saik pop-up boutique curates fashion and lifestyle brands from Southeast Asia and Australia, with no markups in price. The pop-up will run from now till 13 October, so head down soon if you’re planning to check out their wares.
With Love is all about supporting smaller regional brands that place an emphasis on craftsmanship. With that, you’ll find various indie brands across different categories, from footwear to gym clothing, and everyday wear.
Here are some brand highlights:
Fondest is a Malaysian brand that’s size-inclusive. They’re known for their flowy maxi dresses and chic co-ords. Their ROSE Dress is one of their bestsellers. Made with Tencel mix, this breathable dress is perfect for Singapore’s weather. Each dress has adjustable and removable straps—girl math, 2 dresses in 1—and pockets.
Vietnamese fashion brands are all the rage right now, and MAVEN is one of the names attracting attention. The brand is known for their beautiful coquettish dresses featuring hand embroidery and delicate floral motifs. If you’ve got prom or a special occasion to attend, the Bonnie Dress is a gorgeous piece with bejewelled floral details across a black mesh outer.
Looking for a new work bag or purse? Then browse the line-up of vegan leather bags from KAMI. The Indonesian bag brand has a series of bags that are inspired by Korean street fashion, while still looking polished enough for all occasions. The Lou Bag is our personal pick—designed in collaboration with Indonesian shoe brand, Attera, this structured bag gives Loewe Puzzle prizes at a fraction of the price.
