Valentine’s Day is fast approaching. If you haven’t found a place to celebrate this special day, these adults-only restaurants that ban children from entering are worth a shot. These are great if you are looking for a quiet and intimate location to have HTHTs with your partner, or if you guys just aren’t into little ones. 

1. 1-V:U

1-V:U is a new rooftop restaurant at Sentosa. A restaurant and day club at the same time, this beachfront concept is where couples can enjoy gorgeous views of the sea at Palawan Beach, and clink glasses as the sun dips down the horizon. If you love a good drink while bobbing to tunes by live DJs, this place will be right up your alley.

Food-wise, expect to munch on Asian-inspired bar grub such as Mala-gherita Pizza ($20++) with Hot Szechuan Tomato Sauce or a Vongole “Ku Teh” Pasta ($27++). For Valentine’s Day, there will be a 6-course dinner at $240++ per couple, and the lavish meal includes Irish oysters and wagyu.

If you are tired from the noise and activity of the city, Tamarind Hill is a good hideout from the hustle and bustle. Set in a colonial bungalow on higher grounds at the Labrador Nature Reserve, this gorgeous restaurant makes a beautiful backdrop for your couple shots.

Pamper yourself this year at Odette, a three-Michelin-starred restaurant with a sophisticated interior to boot. If you’re lucky, you may get a seat near the glass-enclosed kitchen, where you can sneak a peek at the chefs hard at work.

For Valentine’s Day this year, Odette has a special 6-course lunch at $358++ and an 8-course dinner at $498++. Reservations are required, so make sure you do that in advance. Children above the age of 7 years-old are still allowed here, so don’t be surprised if you do see one or two little fellas there.
