New York designer Alexander Wang has debuted a series of paper bag clutches. They look just like a takeaway paper bag, except they are made of a bonded jersey material and feel way more luxurious.
You can order them from high fashion e-tailer SSENSE. They will set you back US$295 (~S$404) each before delivery charges.
The bag comes in 3 colours of gold, pink and green, and will be a fabulous way to carry your essentials while still looking chic on a night out.
Embroidered on the Lunch Bag Clutch is the Alexander Wang logo, with the words ‘new york’ below in an upside down font.
The opening of the bag has deckled edges to resemble the ‘teeth’ you would see on a typical paper lunch bag, such as those you get when you take away from McDonald’s.
The top rolls over to keep your belongings secure, so you can simply hold onto the top of the bag and carry it along wherever you are heading. The base of the bag has bumper studs allowing it to sit securely on any flat surface you leave it on.
The bag is practical, functional and eye-catching.
Alexander Wang launched his label when he was only 21-years-old in 2005. He gained fame when models took a liking to his sportswear-inspired fashion and strutted the streets of New York in his designs.
He became known for creating the ‘model-off-duty look’ as his slightly more affordable prices compared to other luxury labels helped his designs gain a young and loyal fanbase.
Alexander Wang x H&M collection
Alexander Wang’s brand grew gradually and his minimalist athleisure pieces struck a chord with the masses after he garnered many fashion industry awards. He was engaged by H&M in 2014 for a sold-out collaboration.
You might even have seen his name gracing Uniqlo stores in Singapore because he currently has a Uniqlo AIRism collection out now.
Cop the Alexander Wang Lunch Bag Clutch and you will look like you permanently have some food to share with your friends.
