Breast Cancer Awareness Month takes centre stage every October and beauty brands give their bestsellers a splash of pink to raise awareness for and support those with breast cancer.
While done in the name of doing good, there have been concerns of pinkwashing—when brands promote a pink ribbon product to support breast cancer charities but doesn’t provide transparency about their involvement.
In response, Estée Lauder Companies’ brands made sure to state what portion of their purchases go toward funds for breast cancer-related research, education, and medical services.
If you’d like to pretty yourself up while contributing to a worthy cause, here are 5 limited-edition pink products launched by brands under the Estée Lauder Companies to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).
