From sneaker art jamming sessions to tufting workshops, small businesses are getting even more creative with the number of things we can do in our motherland. To add another one to the list, Candlescape is Singapore’s first “cafe” that has candle making classes for you and your loved ones to experience.
Candlescape specialises in creating realistic candles, so you can either get them as a gift for your friends or as a unique display piece for your own room. Plus, they take pride in being fully sustainable by using soy wax too.
Candlescape does custom orders, so you can contact them to make candles for your special occasions. Nothing is impossible, so go wild with your ideas and leave the creative process to their expertise.
Don’t be mistaken — this is actually a 2kg candle cake with macaron candles on it as decoration.
Huat even more with this Chinese New Year gift set featuring mandarin orange candles and an actual plant to accompany the prosperous vibe.
Created specially for Father’s Day this year, Candlescape has a whiskey candle that smells just like alcohol. Prank your dad into taking a “sip” – it would make for a hilarious video on social media this 19 June 2022.
Even if there are no special occasions, you can get this extravagant set of candles and flowers to show some appreciation to your loved ones.
Candlescape also has three workshops for you to try out — Dessert Candle, 3D Flower Candle & Flower Wax Diffuser and Kids Candle.
For all foodies with a sweet tooth, you can look forward to signing up for the Desserts Candle Workshop. This workshop allows you to make and decorate one ice cream and two macaron candles however you like.
Zhng up your home aesthetics with a 3D Flower Candle and Flower Wax Diffuser. The workshop will include the necessary ingredients from flowers to wax bears, and fragrances for you to select from, so all you have to do is show up and flex your creative side.
Bring your kids out for a fun family bonding day by attending the Kids Candle Workshop. Instead of making traditional wax candles, Candlescape will be teaching how to make kids-friendly, non-melting cactus candles.
Each child will be able to pick their own colours to make their cactus candles more personalised. The workshop will only be 30 minutes long, just enough to keep your child entertained.
In each workshop, you can choose from a variety of scents like Morning Energiser and Abundance Orange. The fragrances used are safe to inhale and adhere to RIFM and IFRA standards for safety and purity.
Not only will you leave with beautiful candles to put on display, but you’ll also take home a memorable and fun experience with your family and friends.
Candlescape only recently opened their first shop on 29 May 2022 at Yue Hwa Building in Chinatown too, so feel free to drop by and view their one-of-a-kind candles. However, if you would like to attend their workshops, you’ll have to book a spot for it beforehand.
