Fashion fans are no strangers to Dior’s iconic monogram pattern. Maria Grazia Chiuri, Dior’s artistic director, put a fresh spin on the oblique canvas print, which you’ll see adorned on the luxury brand’s trending Book Tote bags and Saddle bags.
Come January 2020, Dior will also be giving its Forever Couture Perfect Cushion foundation a limited-edition monogrammed makeover. If you’re still saving up for the Book Tote, you can now have a matching cushion foundation case to go with it.
The cushion foundation’s case will sport Dior’s iconic monogram pattern. It’s dressed up in a chic navy oblique print, with the words Christian Dior stamped across the centre of the cover.
Created by Peter Philips, Dior Makeup‘s creative and image director, the foundation promises 24 hours of hydration. The formula contains wild pansy extract and moisturising agents, fusing skincare with makeup.
Rose fruit extract helps to minimise the appearance of large pores and protect the skin from environmental stressors. The foundation leaves a soft, luminous finish that hits the sweet spot between matte and radiant.

Perhaps the most recognisable item in Dior’s oblique print is the Blue Dior Oblique Book Tote. It’s a roomy tote bag that can be carried on your shoulder or hand.
The Oblique Saddle bag has a wide strap and buckle. To Maria Grazia Chiuri, it’s the perfect accessory. “It’s so comfortable to wear, with its long strap, you almost forget it’s there.”
Bucket hats are still trending hard, and Dior’s given it a fresh update with the oblique print. It’s a reversible hat too, so you can flip the print inside for a peek of the monogram pattern.
If Dior’s monogrammed merch is a tad over your budget, consider the Couture Perfect Cushion. It’s a piece of luxury that fits into any bag.
The cushion foundation will be released in January 2020. There will only be 1,000 pieces available locally and will retail for $98, so have your credit cards on standby.
