If you’re tired of the same old K-beauty products and just need a change, we have something for you. GLYF, founded by K-pop idol Jeon Somi, has launched exclusively on Zalora Singapore.
Jeon Somi won the Korean reality survival show Produce 101 and made her original debut in the girl group I.O.I. Once the group disbanded, she signed with The Black Label and debuted as a solo artist in 2019. Since then, she’s released multiple hit singles such as “Dumb Dumb” and “Fast Forward”.
As for how GLYF came about, Somi was inspired by ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics. Each hieroglyph is shaped differently and tells a different story, which inspired Somi to come up with her brand’s name. GLYF’s main mission is to encourage people to boldly express their beauty and individuality—to let your differences shine.
Currently, Zalora is offering 15% off on all GLYF products from now till 15 November so you can check out the products on offer here.

If the price of the Dior highlighter palette puts you off, check out the Iluétte Highlighter Palette ($43) instead. This highlighter palette won the Allure Best of Beauty award this year in Korea, so you definitely know it’s a good product. There are 4 shades in the palette ranging from a dreamy pink to icy blue, which is made to resemble fairy dust.
Somi said that she used to mix 3 to 4 highlighters to achieve the perfect amount of radiance, but now she doesn’t have to thanks to this palette. The formula of the highlighter is specially baked to give you the same naturally radiant glow that all K-pop idols seem to magically have. Additionally, the highlighter has a vibrant colour payoff, though the coverage is buildable. Put as little or as much highlighter as you want, it’s up to you!
From L-R: People Patch Special Edition No.1 & People Patch Special Edition No. 2
Recently, it’s been trendy to decorate your pimples with cute pimple patches rather than hiding them. With many brands coming out with their version of decorative pimple patches, GLYF is no different. Introducing the People Patch Special Edition ($16) which comes in 2 versions—No. 1 and No. 2. Each pack comes with 32 unique hydrocolloid patch designs and a special compact that comes with a mirror to store the patches, perfect for applying on the go.
The adorable designs of the patches were made to showcase your individuality rather than hide society’s perceived flaws. Both versions have unique designs such as cherries and butterflies, so you can just pick a version that resonates with you, though nobody is stopping you from buying both for variety.
If you don’t want to use these as pimple patches, Somi says that you can also use these to look cute at festivals, concerts or even just for fun. If Somi ever performs in Singapore, you have your look settled.
If you love expressing yourself in different ways, we know you’d love all the GLYF products. Grab them now with the 15% discount on all the products from now to 15 November. Don’t be a “dumb dumb” and miss out on this exclusive deal!
