KOI’s first Mahjong Set will be available for pre-order on 13 January
Mahjong lovers listen up! If you weren’t able to get your hands on the My Melody Mahjong Set from McDonald’s, beloved bubble tea chain KOI will be partnering with Hu.Collections to launch a limited edition mahjong set for the first time, which will be available for pre-orders on 13 January 2025.
The KOI mahjong set will retail for $188 and is held in a sleek gold case. As for the tiles themselves, they will feature a translucent design with KOI’s BB Bear mascot and many emblems unique to KOI, such as tea leaves and the brand logo.
If you look closely at the dots on some of the tiles, they look like KOI’s signature pearls! You can expect to collect this mahjong set in February, though there is no exact date yet. Along with the mahjong set, you will receive a free set of KOI’s poker cards which you can use to stun your relatives at blackjack this year.

KOI-exclusive poker cards
Even though Chinese New Year is about bringing in new things, we still have to honour some traditions. KOI will be bringing back their signature poker cards in a new and improved design that’s inspired by casinos, with BB Bear dressed as a king, queen, and joker still being at the centre of attention.
These cards are free with the purchase of 3 large drinks at any KOI Thé, Express & Signature KOI outlet. Alternatively, they will be available for purchase at $3.80 with the purchase of any large drink, or $8.80 on their own.
And that’s not all! KOI is jumping on the blind box hype with their new mystery KOI membership cards. There will be 5 collectible designs with a secret one that will be given out randomly. These special cards will cost $13.80 and will be sold at all outlets except for the ones at Changi and Jewel. With the purchase of this KOI card, you will also receive 5 free exclusive ang baos that you can give away to the bubble tea fanatics in your family.
