Las Palmas Is A New Poolside Rooftop Bar With Aesthetic Pink Furnishings & Movie-Inspired Cocktails

Las Palmas Poolside Rooftop Bar

A typical date usually goes like this: catching a movie, having dinner, and ending the night by sharing dessert. But NGL, knowing what to expect can get boring and a lil’ repetitive, especially for long-time couples.

Well, good news for those looking for a new place to impress bae as Courtyard by Marriott Singapore Novena is opening their new rooftop poolside bar Las Palmas on 29 October 2022.

The rooftop bar

Located at Level 33 of Courtyard by Marriott Singapore Novena, Las Palmas allows guests to escape from the hustle and bustle thanks to their breezy spot and impressive views of Singapore’s city skyline.

Pro tip: Head over with your SO during the golden hour to soak in an extra romantic sunset.

As Las Palmas takes inspiration from Palm Springs and downtown LA, their poolside feature and pink colourway allow guests to go on a quick pretend escape to the famous locations. Plus, take a cue from The Plastics and put on your best pink outfits to take IG-worthy photos with the aesthetic pink furnishings.

The bar counter is made from rose quartz to match the pink theme

No worries if you are more of an indoor person, as Las Palmas is also designed with an indoor space for guests to recharge and relax.

You can either choose to sit by the bar counter or opt for a more secluded seating in the corner for a HTHT sesh with your BFF.

Whether it is for a romantic night out with bae or a girls-only gathering, Las Palmas raises the bar for rooftop locations to wind down in Singapore.

The menu

One of the best things that Las Palmas has to offer is their all-day menu that revolves around Americana, Mexican, and Southern California dishes. This means that whether you’re there for a late-afternoon snack or a hearty dinner, you’re up for a gastronomic experience.

From left: Juicy Kiss, Tropical Heat

A highlight of their mains includes Juicy Kiss, a baguette topped with smoked angus beef brisket, swiss cheese, and caramelised onions with a side of chips. Tropical Heat is for spicy-food lovers, with Singapore chilli baby back ribs and cajun corn on the cob. Yum.

From left: Shrimply Satisfying, Cabana

Seafood lovers can also opt for Shrimply Satisfying, a pair of buttered soft buns filled with shrimps, scallions, and mayo.

You can elevate the rooftop bar experience by ordering their cocktails and signature blends. Quench your thirst with a fruity cocktail like Cabana made with ingredients like cognac, peach liqueur, citrus, almonds, and whites.

From left: Cheesecake Factory, L.A. Confidential

The Cheesecake Factory might appeal to fans of The Big Bang Theory ‒ if you recall, it is the restaurant where Penny works. While we won’t see her as our waitress here, you can expect a cocktail named after the restaurant that features a milky appearance made from vanilla vodka, limoncello, mascarpone, and citrus blueberry.

On the other hand, L.A. Confidential is inspired by a movie of the same name released in 1997. The chocolate-infused sipper features Venezuela rum, cherry, oloroso sherry, cacao cardamom, and sea salt.
