Last year, McDonald’s released crossbody bags with burger and fries motifs on them — they were pretty much an upgraded version of the typical ah beng bags. It seems like McDonald’s is looking to expand further into fashion, as this time round, they’re introducing the adorable Patty Puffer Bag inspired by McGriddles’ latest comeback.
With puffer bags back in trend, it’s now common to see ladies around Singapore getting their own from retail brands such as The Paper Bunny. NGL, we didn’t expect McDonald’s, out of all brands, to be dropping their own puffer bag design too.
Inspired by the iconic breakfast McGriddles, the Patty Puffer Bag comes in a chic brown tone to resemble a sausage patty, complete with a pop of yellow at the bottom that mimics a cheese slice.
Local influencers and sisters Aimee and Hannah Cheng Bradshaw showed off how they modelled the bags with their stylish outfits in a McDonald’s store. The tote bags come with a top handle of two lengths, so you can hang it over your shoulder or hand carry it according to your preference.
With these photo inspirations in mind, perhaps you too can re-create your own model shoot at a McDonald’s outlet near you.
Unlike the previous McDonald’s crossbody bags, the Patty Puffer Bag is even more exclusive.
It’s only available at McDonald’s Canberra from 9 March 2023, 7am onwards, with a purchase of a McGriddles 2x value meal. Plus, the bags are only limited to the first 200 customers — expect extra long queues from Easties and Westies as well.
Since there are only 200 pieces of the Patty Puffer Bags exclusively available at McDonald’s Canberra outlet, we’re keeping our fingers crossed that McDonald’s has plans to release more at other outlets too. Hopefully, McGriddles fans can get their hands on them ASAP, before the scalpers on Carousell inflate the prices.
