You don’t have to be active on social media to notice that fitness classes like spin, yoga, and pilates are gaining interest from many Singaporeans. If you’ve been thinking about hopping onto the bandwagon, Minmed Wellness Collective is launching a new concept in Jewel Changi Airport for you to better care for your health and wellness.
Look forward to sweating it out with the HSBC Rain Vortex as a backdrop, and going for a first-class health screening when you pay a visit to the iconic landmark.
Rhythmic cycling isn’t new in the fitness world, but having a rhythmic cycling class with a gorgeous view of the HSBC Rain Vortex ‒ the world’s tallest indoor waterfall ‒ is definitely worth considering.
Available every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the rhythmic cycling classes have 35 bikes that occupy a quarter of the ring. Since these classes take place in the form of a silent disco, attendees will use headphones to listen to music and instructions from the trainer.
Rest assured that during the class, there won’t be any curious visitors wandering in because the section will be cordoned off.
Those who prefer working on their form and inner strength can sign up for yoga, barre, and pilates classes that are conducted from Wednesday to Sunday, between 8am and 10am instead.
Away from the hustle and bustle, these classes take place at the lush Canopy Park located at level five of Jewel Changi Airport, which is perfect for meditating while you connect your body and mind.
If you feel lonely signing up for a class by yourself, jio your fellow kakis, and challenge them to an early workout before returning to your daily activities.
Tapping into state-of-the-art technology, Minmed Wellness Collective also offers personalised health screening plans that include consultations, general radiology, ultrasound, and mammography.
Situated at level four of Jewel Changi Airport, the wellness centre conducts health screenings that bring to mind first-class travel with customised service that pays close attention to the customer’s concerns and privacy.
This means you can freely share with your medical professional health issues in a safe space.
Unlike standard health screenings that require you to fast, these ones at Minmed Wellness Collective won’t have you doing so. The reason? Non-fasting tests have shown accurate results, and no significant differences between fasted and non-fasted blood cholesterol.
To put it simply, you won’t have to schedule an early health screening, but rather, have the examination at your most convenient time.
Once you’re done with the health screening, you also won’t have to drop by the wellness centre to review the results. You can do so anytime with your doctor via video consultation in the Minmed Connected App wherever you are.
Rather than working out in an enclosed studio, switch up your environment when you attend fitness classes at Minmed Wellness Collective, which also offers first-class health screening.
Interested folks can mark their calendar since the official opening of the wellness centre is happening on 1 June 2023. Rhythm cycling at the HSBC Rain Vortex and yoga classes can be booked at their website.
