A couple of decades back, passing by The Heeren would mean stopping by for a quick Neoprint session with your besties. Now that those nostalgic photo booths are almost gone, there are other options where you can capture precious moments.
Be it for an anniversary celebration or a graduation shoot, make your photo taking experience more memorable by visiting the following themed photo studios in Singapore.
In a self-photo studio, you get to be yourself without feeling awkward in front of a photographer. Dollop Selfie Studio is a Korean-inspired black and white self-photo studio with professional cameras and studio lighting. With the shutter clicker in your hands, you are in control of the photos ‒ this way, you’re the photographer.
Since it is a private studio, you won’t have to worry about expressing yourself while getting stares. Get creative with your poses and make full use of the space with your other half, best friends or family members.

New York City is one of the many places people dream of visiting at least once in their life. At Colight Studio, you get to experience “hanging out” in a NYC loft, so you can channel TV shows like Friends or Sex And The City.
The backdrop is made of a brick wall and you will also find a sofa bed to pose and take Instagram-worthy shots. Adding on, the “window” on the side is actually a monitor screen and the scenes can be changed accordingly. You can make it look as if the sun is shining in or even switch things up by creating a snowy window scene ‒ a sight you’ll never find in Singapore.
Besides this studio, they also have a brighter setup where you can play with natural light. Also, their fully equipped professional studio has all the space you need for a full production shoot.
