Just in time for Pokémon fans to add one more thing to their Christmas lists, Brit footwear brand Clarks has dropped their latest collab with the Pokémon franchise. Featuring a four-part collection inspired by the Pokémon of the Kanto region, catch these Torhill Hi suede shoes in four vibrant colours: Pikachu yellow, Charmander orange, Squirtle blue, and Bulbasaur green.
This is Clarks second collaboration with Pokémon after the release of their Pokémon Wallabee Boot last year. And riding on the success of the Wallabee collection, the new Torhill Hi design debuted earlier this year as a reinterpretation of the former’s classic look.
Inspired by first generation Pokémon characters, the very recognisable colours of the Torhill Hi boot are eye-catching instantly. This mid-top designed shoe is made with premium suede uppers that feature checkered Poké Balls embroidered on the medials.
You’ll find the nostalgic characters of Pikachu, Charmander, Bulbasaur, and Squirtle displayed on the shoe’s tongue tag, with fuzzy collars and honeycomb-style liners in the interior. And completing the whole look are raised ribbed rubber soles that protect the shoe from water backsplash – perfect for the sudden rainy weather in Singapore.
Another noticeable feature on the shoe is the pixelated stitched graphics of each Pokémon’s individual Pokédex number with Bulbasaur at #0001, Charmander with #0004, Squirtle at #0007, and Pikachu coming in at #0025.
Try catching this exclusive collection online and in-stores in Singapore from 8 December 2023 onwards, only at Clarks. If one thing’s for sure, the Pokémon fever doesn’t look set to end any time soon.
