The Ritz-Carlton Now Has Mooncake Boxes That Double As Chio Makeup Vanity Bags This Mid-Autumn Festival

Ritz-Carlton Mooncake Vanity Bag

Let’s admit it ‒ we are guilty of hoarding mooncake boxes simply because they are too pretty to be thrown away. And among the many boxes that we keep, only a few are put to good use after.

Instead of letting them become white, dusty elephants at home, Ritz-Carlton now has chio mooncake boxes that double as makeup vanity boxes.

The design

Available in two designs ‒ white embossed leather with floral motifs and burgundy with crocodile print ‒ the exquisite mooncake boxes from Ritz-Carlton are keepers.

While they are essentially a two-tier box to store mooncakes during the Mid-Autumn Festival, they can later transform into practical makeup vanity bags once you’re done snacking on the sweet and savoury goods.

Closing in on the details, the gold zips are embossed with a motif of Ritz-Carlton’s iconic logo ‒ the combination of the British royal seal and a financial backer aka a lion.

As only the top section of the box comes with five pockets for makeup brushes, the remaining compartments allow you to store your favourite accessories and cosmetics. Pro tip: you can make things neater by bringing in your own ring organisers.

While the vanity bag function might have stolen the limelight, there is also a matching luggage tag that you won’t want to miss out on. Since more Singaporeans are travelling overseas, the luggage tag will definitely come in handy as you can put down your personal details. This way, you get to avoid awkward situations like taking the wrong luggage from the conveyer belt.

What’s more, the vanity bag lets you carry it either by the handle or attach your own shoulder strap for crossbody wear.

This Mooncake And Makeup Vanity Bag From Ritz-Carlton Is A Creative Design Not To Be Missed

Whether it is snow skin or traditionally baked mooncakes, you can get them both alongside the mooncake and makeup vanity bags when you order them from Summer Pavilion from Ritz-Carlton

Their mini snow skin green tea and mini snow skin white lotus seed paste, both with and without yolk, retail at 8 for $82. For unique snow skin flavours like their lycheetini and mao shan wang, they retail at 8 for $88 and 4 for $102 respectively.

Those who prefer baked mooncakes can go for their white lotus seed paste ones at 4 for $86, and black sesame with white lotus seed paste and roasted walnuts mooncakes at 4 for $90. They also have white lotus seed paste mooncakes with double yolk at 4 for $96.

Currently, the hotel is also having a 30% early bird discount for orders made by 9 August 2022.
