Your favourite Sanrio characters have landed on our shores, literally. The installations

Likewise, let Hello Kitty welcome you to Island Lights with a recreation of the Sentosa Gateway arch. Snap a wefie of yourself with the larger-than-life feline against a colourful backdrop of heart-shaped lights.

There’s no doubt that ’90s kids in Singapore will remember Fantasy Island, the waterpark located in Sentosa that closed down in 2001. Reminisce about the good old days when you splashed around with your friends without a care in the world at the 8m-tall installation of the colourful waterslides, this time with My Melody for company.

The ‘Siloso’ word block is a prominent landmark on Siloso beach, one of those spots where lost souls can arrange to meet their friends.

Now, the word blocks have an additional backdrop featuring some of Pompompurin’s favourite things, as well as a massive version of the doggo itself.

There will also be a mini-maze, where explorers can discover bygone landmarks like the Ferry Terminal as they try to find My Melody.

The 2019 edition was based on the theme, Celebration. The 7 installations included see-saws, murals and LED lights created by local and international artists.

Aside from the beautiful LED lights, 2019’s Island Lights saw yachts flaunting static light displays and a row of boats setting sail together at sunset.

In 2018, the second run of Sentosa’s Island Lights consisted of 10 photo-worthy installations by local artists spread around Palawan Beach. There was also a Pikachu Night Parade, the first to be held outside Japan.
