Sorry to Regina George, but pink outfits are encouraged to be worn not only on Wednesdays during Breast Cancer Awareness month this October 2022.
In support of the annual campaign, Shangri-La Singapore is having a Pink High Tea from 1 to 31 October 2022, which is perfect for a get-together sesh with your girlies.
Nothing beats the comfort of your couch, and those who prefer to indulge in the Pink High Tea like a tai tai at home can consider ordering a takeaway set.
Presented on a three-tier stand, the high tea set includes sweet and savoury snacks in pink hues like Rose Petal Macaron, and Pink Mentaiko with Sakura Egg Salad on Sweet Chilli Brioche Roll. Other tantalising selections include Maple Smoked Duck with Pimento Relish Gratin on Waffle Cup, and Strawberry Yuzu Tartlet.
Accompanying the high tea set is also The Rose Veranda’s signature vanilla and cranberry scones that are perfect when paired with their clotted cream and jam. The full menu of the high tea takeaway set can be found here.
Each Pink High Tea takeaway set is suitable for 2 pax at $88++, and interested folks can make an order on Shangri-La’s official website.
To make the high tea session even more meaningful, Shangri-La Singapore will be donating $5 for every takeaway set sold to the Breast Cancer Foundation in support of local programs on eradicating breast cancer. Enjoying delicious munchies and contributing to a good cause? Yes, please.
Unlike the takeaway set, the dine-in experience for the Pink High Tea at The Rose Veranda offers guests a 3-course high tea instead. Diners get to choose from one of their three main courses ‒ Pan Seared King Prawns, Black Angus Beef Tenderloin, and Norwegian Salmon Roulade ‒ on top of the same high tea menu.
Catered to 2 pax at $108++, the Pink High Tea dine-in experience is only available at The Rose Veranda from Thursday to Sunday. To avoid disappointment, be sure to make a reservation by calling 6213 4468 or 6213 4398, or emailing dining.sls@shangri-la.com.
Whether it is to treat yourself to a pampering TLC or catch up with your fellow kakis, the Pink High Tea will no doubt be an unforgettable gastronomic experience.
Other than the Pink High Tea, Shangri-La Singapore has also prepared Pink Hope for those with a sweet tooth. The 500g dessert is an Ispahan macaron made with raspberry marmalade, litchi, and rose ganache, adorned with fresh raspberries and rose petals.
Priced at $68, the Pink Hope is available at the Shophouse by Shangri-La Singapore, and an advanced order can be made on Shangri-La Singapore’s official website.
For the entire month of October 2022, Shangri-La Singapore invites you to show your support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month with their Pink High Tea. More information about the limited-time high tea can be found on Shangri-La Singapore’s official website.
