While we don’t usually spy makeup and sports brands working together, Shu Uemura has proven that anything is possible by launching a collection with Onitsuka Tiger. This new collection, inspired by the bright colours of Onitsuka Tiger’s signature stripes, comes with a pair of sneakers and a variety of makeup.
The cosmetics can be bought on Tangs’ website, while the sneakers can be found on Onitsuka Tiger’s website.
With 12 new makeup products, the new collection can transform the entire look of your vanity. The range includes 2 eyeshadow palettes, 6 lipsticks, an eyebrow pencil, a cleansing oil, a brush and an eyelash curler.
There are 2 eyeshadow palettes available, named Beyond The Limit and Set the Motion respectively. The latter has warm tones of orange and brown in both shimmery and matte textures, making it an easy go-to for everyday looks. Beyond The Limit comes with cooler hues, including a matte blue that fans of Onitsuka Tiger would find familiar. Each palette comes with 8 shades and goes at $108.
A total of 6 Rouge Unlimited lipsticks ($42 each) are available, with 3 in the Matte line and 3 in the Lacquer Shine line. All 6 lippies are in bright shades of orange and red, with Onitsuka Tiger’s signature stripes printed on each case.
The rest of the collection comprises a Hard Formula eyebrow pencil ($33), Summer Orange Eyelash Curler ($30), Petal 55 Foundation Brush ($80) and Ultime8∞ Sublime Cleansing Oil ($165).
Those who spend $160 and $230 on Tangs’ website, with at least 1 item from this collection, can get a free Onitsuka Tiger pouch and drawstring backpack respectively.

Aside from makeup, the collection also includes a pair of sneakers by Onitsuka Tiger. Named Delegation Ex, the shoes come in shades of red, with the brand’s signature stripes in orange and black. These are made with smooth leather, with panels of shiny enamel on the sides. They’re priced at $229, and each purchase comes with a free Rouge Unlimited lipstick from the same collection.
While the new collection is not the most affordable, the bold colours used can brighten up your look and room. Get this limited-edition collection while it lasts on Tangs’ website or Onitsuka Tiger’s website.
