Summer Spaces is a pop-up market from 6 to 8 September 

If you’ve been very into visiting pop-up markets to discover unique brands and creators recently, Summer Spaces might be your next must-visit event. Located at the Visual Arts Centre at Dhoby Ghaut, Summer Spaces is a pop-up market event happening from 6 September to 8 September 2024.

This event features a vibrant mix of 22 brands, spanning local and international small businesses.

The event’s debut will showcase 22 small businesses in one space. In addition to the diverse retail options, there will also be a variety of activities for you and your besties to enjoy after a long day of shopping.

Whether you want to shop till you drop with some homegrown brands or relax with some coffee and homemade desserts by some of the food vendors, there will be plenty of ways to make the most of your visit.

Fans of vintage items will be thrilled to know that, in addition to vintage clothing brands offering items like pre-loved jerseys and retro-looking dresses, the organisers have also brought in vendors specialising in vintage watches, accessories, and old-school digital cameras.

Vendors at Summer Spaces

Here are some of the vendor highlights to look forward to:

Herra Vintage curates vintage timepieces from as far back as the ‘50s. By refurbishing and restoring these vintage and pre-loved watches, Herra Vintage promotes sustainability and circular fashion.

Digicam Diaries Singapore will be bringing in more than 100 different digicams to the event. With the owner’s expertise in the unique photographic style each digicam offers, a quick chat with her will ensure you walk home with a digicam that suits your vibe to a T.

The Singapore fashion scene extends beyond typical fast-fashion clothing brands and thrift stores. Discover local streetwear brand, Maroon, known for their intricately designed products. The brand offers a diverse range of clothing and accessories. 

Drop by The Anamoli’s booth to check out their one-of-a-kind denim skirts. They will be bringing in their limited edition denim skirts, and with only 25 pieces available, these unique items are sure to be popular. So if you’re a fan of the styles they offer, RUN, don’t walk!

If you’re just looking for a little R&R this weekend, visit Tea and Gasoline Co.’s booth for some custom jagua tattoos—perfect for those looking to explore tattoos without the commitment. There will also be other local and international jagua tattoo artists at the event so keep a lookout for them. 

Don’t forget to stop by the local F&B booths as well for a midday snack. For those with a sweet tooth, Okdough2 is a small business that specialises in chonky cookies, fruit tarts and more. For a coffee fix, visit Kopisoh, where you can find everything from your regular old Americano to hazelnut lattes and lemonades. PS: Kopisoh will be launching 2 new drinks at Summer Spaces so don’t forget to check them out!
