Let’s be real — going out for a brunch session with your besties can only mean one thing: gossip time. If you’re a fan of serving tea as a form of catching up, now you can quite literally serve with these tea set nails, designed by US nail artist Morgan Gilbertson. Made with 3D sculptures of tea pots and cups, you’ll be bringing both tea and looks to the table.
The press on nail set is designed in floral blue and white hues to resemble a porcelain tea set. Each tea cup comes in various shapes and sizes, sitting on matching saucers above the nail.
The tea set nails aren’t just for show — in an Instagram Reel, Morgan Gilbertson showed that they can actually be used to make tea. Each tea pot comes with a detachable lid and can contain the beverage of your choice.
Surprising viewers even further, Morgan opened another teapot to reveal its contains — sugar. From there, she used a tiny spoon to scoop up the sugar and add it to her cup of tea, effectively stirring them together.
The result? A tiny cup of tea at your fingertips, ready to be served. For those who grew up watching miniature cooking videos on YouTube, this will probably heal your inner child.
Morgan Gilbertson also shared that this set costs USD$3,000 (~SGD$4,042.30), and cheekily questioned her followers if they would pay this amount just for a set of nails.
Personally, I think it’s an amount that aligns with the effort that she put into making them, seeing as the tea set actually works.
This isn’t Morgan Gilbertson’s only tea set nails design. The nail artist also previously created a white and pink floral tea set (left). Likewise, these work perfectly too.
Or if you’re up for a more whimsical design instead, she also has a 3D mushroom forest nail set (right) that will make you feel like an enchanted fairy in the woods.
