The Marmalade Pantry Bejewelled Afternoon Tea
With themed-high teas becoming a trend in Singapore, frequent high-tea goers are spoilt for choice. Now there is another one for you to consider ‒ the Bejewelled Afternoon Tea Set by The Marmalade Pantry and MADLY.
Inspired by the colourful gems of MADLY, the high tea set is exclusively available from 11 October to 30 November 2022 at ION Orchard.
The high tea
For the unacquainted, MADLY is a bespoke jewellery brand that sets themselves apart from others thanks to their bold and innovative designs. They also ethically source for the world’s top 0.1% of coloured gemstones across the world so you’d know you’re wearing their bling without guilt.
The collaboration between the two brands introduces us to their Bejewelled Afternoon Tea set that features 3-tiers of jewel-inspired delectables. Curious folks are even welcome to scan the QR code on the cake topper to learn more about the jewellery-inspired items.
Savoury munchies on the menu include highlights like Truffle Egg Mayo Sandwiches and Spinel Tartlet. The latter item takes inspiration from a colourful Spinel gemstone as you get to see the greys and pinks through ingredients like crab mayo and Avruga caviar.
Those with a sweet tooth won’t want to miss out on delicacies like Beryl Panna Cotta Shooter, a classic panna cotta garnished with blue and pink jelly cubes, and Geode Cupcake that is filled with Bailey’s Irish Cream and decorated with edible gold leaf and pink cream frosting.
In case you get thirsty from catching up with your bestie, the high tea set also comes with two pots of artisan tea from homegrown brand Monogram Tea for you to stay hydrated.

‘Lapidarist in Action’ experiential zone
To elevate the high tea experience for guests, MADLY will also be bringing in their Lapidarist in Action experiential zone from their Ann Siang Road Brand Experience Centre to The Marmalade Pantry at ION Orchard.
Diners get to witness a behind-the-scenes video of a lapidarist at work who will be demonstrating the gem-cutting process that highlights the time and precision that each gem from MADLY goes through.
As a bonus for the first 50 Bejewelled Afternoon Tea Set ordered, diners also get to take home a complimentary MADLY gem loupe so you can better examine the finer details of the gems.
