Earlier this month, Culture Cartel 2022, aka Singapore’s biggest street culture event with over 200 brands, was successfully held at *SCAPE. For those who missed out on grabbing new merch during the event, not to worry. UNIQLO has teamed up with Hypebeast to bring us a new collection of graphic tees and jackets, specially curated by four Hypebeast collaborators.
This pastel purple tee is curated by Actual Source, an American streetwear brand and book store that collaborates with contemporary artists.
Staying true to their branding, the design features a person completely immersed in his book. Bookworms can relate to how he restlessly shifts into different seating positions in search of the perfect reading spot.
The next colourful design is by Wotherspoon Designs, a clothing brand that prides themselves in playful details inspired by the natural world.
The tee showcases a shelf filled to the brim with unique collectibles — perhaps a familiar sight for avid POP MART collectors.
Inspired by Faze Clan, an esports organisation, this tee takes the concept of online gaming to the next level. It comes with a vibrant print of an “evil” computer game, reaching a sinister-looking hand out of the screen, towards the player.
This fun monochrome team highlights Peaches One Universe’s iconic mascot driving an equally cheeky-looking car.
All of the tees in this collection are retailing at $19.90 each.
One key fashion tip about streetwear is the importance of layering. Complete your full hypebeast look with the coach jacket by Faze Clan, available in blue. Their logo is situated on the front of the button-up jacket, along with a similar evil computer design behind.
Minimalists can also opt for this full-black jacket with Peaches One Universe’s logo on the front. It’s complete with long chequered sleeves that remind us of a race flag.
Both jackets are water-repellent and come in a boxy cutting for an oversized and relaxed fit. The jackets retail at $69.90 each.
No matter if you’re looking to snag your very first streetwear clothing or have been keeping up with Hypebeast’s new launches, this collection has got you covered.
The full UNIQLO x Hypebeast range will be available from 6 January 2023 on UNIQLO’s website and in-stores islandwide.
