Who says nothing good comes out of watching TV? You can now stand a chance to win an iPad Air, AirPods Pro and a slew of other prizes, simply by binge-watching your favourite k-dramas. Yep, that’s your weekend plans sorted right there, thanks to online video streaming service Viu’s #TheTopViuer Contest, which is happening from now to 8 November 2020, 11.59pm. Best of all, both registered free and premium Viu users are eligible to participate. Read on to find out how to take part in the contest!

Before you start binge-watching Korean dramas like Tale of the Nine Tailed and Alice, enter #TheTopViuer contest by filling up this form on Viu’s Facebook page with your personal particulars and Viu User ID.

During the contest period, watch as many videos as you can while being logged on to your participating Viu account. However, videos in the ‘Trailers’ and ‘Viu So Good’ categories, as well as downloaded videos in your Viu app, will not be considered valid in this contest. 

To stand a higher chance of winning, you can also jio your family and friends to watch on different devices using your registered account.

#TheTopViuer contest has 2 two different prize categories: Grand Prizes and Weekly Prizes.

The Grand Prize contest takes place across the entire contest period. That is, from midnight on 16 October 2020 to 11.59pm on 8 November, 2020. The top 3 Viu users who have the most number of videos viewed by the end of the contest period will win an iPad Air (2019), ViewSonic M1 plus a Portable Projector, or a pair of Airpods Pro respectively. 

 

As for the weekly prizes, a different prize will be given away to the top Viu user who has the most number of videos viewed by the end of each contest week.

Week 1’s (16 October to 25 October 2020) winner will score a Google Chromecast (3rd Gen) and $150 GrabFood vouchers. 

Watch the most videos during Week 2, which takes place from 26 October to 1 November 2020,  and you’ll get a pair of Bang & Olufsen Beoplay E8 Wireless Earbuds. 

The winner of the last week of the contest (2 November to 8 November 2020) will walk away with an Ultimate Ears BOOM 3 Bluetooth Speaker. 

Unfortunately, as much as you’d like to win all these attractive prizes, each participant is only eligible for one weekly prize during the contest period. 

The good news is that even if you win a weekly prize, you will still be in the running for the grand prizes, so keep binge-watching!
