If you missed out on the Boys Planet audition in Singapore that happened earlier this month, here’s another chance for you to fulfill your K-pop idol dream.
YG Entertainment ‒ home to K-pop groups like Blackpink, Big Bang, and iKON ‒ is making their way to Singapore to search for both female and male local talents this November 2022.
It’s almost impossible for K-pop fans to not know about YG Entertainment as they produce hit tracks that garnered massive popularity worldwide ‒ songs like Blackpink’s DDU-DU DDU-DU and Big Bang’s BANG BANG BANG easily ring a bell.
Since their establishment in 1996, YG Entertainment has developed a unique hip-hop music style that allowed them to stand out from other K-pop agencies.

Apart from being a record label and talent agency, YG Entertainment also has subsidiaries that manage other aspects of entertainment like concert production and event planning.
If you see yourself as a good fit for YG Entertainment, consider taking part in the upcoming audition that they are hosting this November 2022.
K-pop idol hopefuls born between 2003 and 2012 can apply for the audition from now till 23 October 2022 through a Google form. The categories include vocal, rap, and dance, and interested folks have to prepare an audition that doesn’t exceed a minute.
Those who are trying out for singing and rapping have to sing or rap without background music, whereas dance applicants will need to prepare their own track.
You’re all set after submitting your application, but be sure to look out for a confirmation email by 1 November 2022 to learn about the time of your audition. Those who don’t receive an email might want to look through their junk folders too.
Mark your calendar as the first round of auditions is happening from 8 to 11 November 2022 at Level 10 of Orchard Central Mall. Successful participants who pass will move on to the second round of auditions on 25 and 26 November 2022 at the same location.
