From the Sanrio x ANNA SUI collection to Hello Kitty buns that ooze out chocolate pearls, 7-Eleven Taiwan has always been known for their adorable Sanrio goodies. While we’ve always been wishing for more of such kawaii Sanrio merch to reach Singapore as well, it seems like 7-Eleven Singapore has heard our prayers.
From 9 June to 3 August 2021, Sanrio fans in Singapore can claim mini silicone pouches in 8 different characters, as well as additional Sanrio-themed lifestyle accessories. Read on to find out how you can get your hands on these limited edition goodies while stocks last.
The silicone zip pouches are suitable for both grown-ups and kids alike to use as a fashion accessory. The Hello Kitty design comes in a minimalist white colour with a pop of red from the iconic ribbon.
The pouches all have a 12cm long zip and are reusable and washable. The loop on top allows you to hang the pouch on your bag, perfect for storing mini hand sanitizers or TraceTogether tokens during this period of time.
The rest of the Sanrio characters come in soft pastel colours to give off a fresh and calming vibe. From My Melody in pink, Little Twin Stars in purple and Pompompurin in its iconic yellow pudding shade, these pouches are also great for storing spare change or extra lip gloss when you go on your morning coffee runs.
Not to forget Keroppi and Cinnamoroll too wither their smiling faces that never fail to make us go uwu. Go for the Badtz-Maru pouch in black if you love the bold, dark and mischievous look of this character. Pekkle Duck in baby blue is also available.

If the pouches aren’t enough to satisfy your love for all things Sanrio, more Sanrio-themed lifestyle merchandise can be purchased at 7-Eleven. During this period of Phase 2 Heightened Alert where eating out is not allowed, it’s time to invest in a lunch box to save takeout costs if you haven’t gotten one yet.
The Hello Kitty lunchbox in this collection comes in a cafe theme, featuring a red base which highlights the designs of Hello Kitty and apple pies on the cover.
There is also a Little Twin Stars version in purple, with Kiki and Lala baking dreamy star-shaped macaroons and cakes.
Besides lunchboxes, get a reusable tote bag to reduce plastic bags when carrying your dapao containers too. The tote bag in this collection is foldable, allowing you to tuck it in your backpack easily when not in use. Cinnamoroll’s face peeks out at the top, surrounded by pastel sprinkles.
Additional Sanrio-themed merchandise includes umbrellas and tumblers as well, available across over 340 7-Eleven stores in Singapore.
The Sanrio pouches can be redeemed in 7-Eleven Singapore stores through a stamp reward programme. For every $5 spent in 7-Eleven, a stamp is earned. A randomly-packed Sanrio silicone pouch can be redeemed for either 20 stamps or 5 stamps with a top-up of $8.90.
You can also look out for selected star products that will allow you to earn 2 stamps instead of one. The stamps can be earned for eight weeks between 9 June and 3 August 2021.
These Sanrio silicone pouches had first been launched in Hong Kong last year before arriving in Singapore. Hopefully, this means we can see more Sanrio merch from other countries making its way here too.
