Fast fashion out, fast food in. As if news of the upcoming McDonald’s x BTS meal wasn’t enough, Adidas has also teamed up with the Golden Arches and NYC-based designer Eric Emanuel on a collection of apparel and footwear.
The collaboration is meant to commemorate the McDonald’s All-American Games, an annual basketball match in the U.S. played by the best-performing high school basketball stars. This special Adidas x McDonald’s collection by Eric Emanuel will feature items including hoodies, tracksuits, basketball shorts, sneakers and slides. Many of the pieces have McDonald’s French Fries as motifs, which might make you hungry just by looking at them.
A highlight of the collection is the McDonald’s-themed remix on the Forum 84 High Sneakers.
The sneakers are chock-full of details. Fans of the fast food brand can look forward to the McDonald’s All-American Games logo (left) on the shoe tongue. Fashion enthusiasts will be pleased to see Eric Emanuel’s signature logo (right) on the shoe as well.
Even the soles of the sneakers are decked in a vibrant red and yellow similar to McDonald’s iconic brand colours.
Those who want to keep it casual can rock the collection’s rendition of the popular Adilette Slides. Match them with a pair of white socks and you will have footwear that will draw the eyes of everyone in the crowd.

With the Adidas x McDonald’s shorts and t-shirts by Eric Emanuel, your outfit alone will be the MVP of your next basketball game.
The Reverse Retro Shorts boast an adorable fries graphic. While it was released on Eric Emanuel’s online store in advance, the shorts have since sold out quickly.
If you aren’t a fan of fries, don’t worry. Another design, the Game Time Shorts, sporting the All-American Games red, yellow and blue colourways will be released.
For many, McDonald’s is a standard go-to supper or comfort food. You can now rep your favourite fast food brand anywhere with the special edition Eric Emanuel graphic t-shirt.
We can’t think of anything more distinctly McDonald’s than this tracksuit meant to mimic the fries and container you get at its joints.
A fashion slam dunk, anyone rocking this tracksuit will be a star on both the court and runway.
Rounding out the look is the matching pair of pants, which is equally star-spangled.
Last but not least, the Eric Emanuel McDonald’s hoodies. They are available in 2 different colour-swapped palettes. Both feature the All-American Games logo on the back and Adidas’ signature 3 stripes on the sleeves.
Prices for the Adidas x McDondald’s collaboration by Eric Emanuel start from US$50 (~S$66.33) for the graphic t-shirt. The collection is already available in Eric Emanuel’s physical shop in NYC and will drop on the designer’s website and Adidas’ U.S. online store on 23 April 2021. The collection will also be making its way to Japan, hitting the shelves of stores in Tokyo and Fukuoka. Hopefully, this means there is a chance that it might land in other countries across Asia too.
In the meantime, ARMYs and fast food lovers alike can look forward to the brand’s upcoming collab with BTS. From 27 May 2021, McDonald’s Singapore will have a limited time menu consisting of the band’s go-to orders. And, while waiting for the menu to drop, BTS stans can check out the recently released BTS tattoos.
