Adding a white tee to your OOTD is one of the best ways to go for a casual and chic look. With a simple outerwear or a couple of accessories, you’re pretty much good to go on a nice dinner date. As the saying rings true, “simple is best”.
However, wearing white tees often also means the inevitable struggle of eating without staining your precious shirt. With this concern in mind, Japanese fashion brand Ziorich is introducing a new anti-stain T-shirt to save you the embarrassment.
Launching a YouTube video to promote their new tee, Ziorich showcases a real life example with a man heartily enjoying a bowl of ramen. Of course, with any soupy meal, slurping up the noodles will not just hit the spot, but also result in the soup droplets spraying everywhere.
Whether the droplets land onto your shirt or not basically boils down to lady luck.
Unsurprisingly, the man in the video stains his shirt with the ramen broth. Seeing the large rich-coloured stains on the front is literally every first date’s nightmare.
Showing off the anti-stain feature of the tee, the man simply grabbed a cup of water and poured it over the stains. With just water alone, this resulted in most of the stains magically disappearing from the shirt.
Drying off with a few dabs of his napkin, the shirt appears as good as new once again.
While the tee hasn’t been tested with any other food, we’re hoping that it can hold the same anti-stain capabilities for our laksa or bak kut teh.
The anti-stain T-shirt is not yet available for sale, but Ziorich’s Instagram page has updated that it will be “coming soon”. Hopefully, shipping will be available to Singapore too, so there’s no need to frantically scrub at our white tees every time we accidentally stain them outside.
This isn’t the first time Ziorich has created tees with unique features. On Ziorich’s website, slimming tees, both short-sleeves and long-sleeves, are also available, giving off the illusion of a flatter and slimmer upper body.
With this unique anti-stain T-shirt, here’s to wishing you a successful date night with no fear of ugly stains. Stay tuned to Ziorich’s website for more information about its release.
