2. Shang Bar & Restaurant
Locating Shang Bar & Restaurant might feel like a mini treasure hunt because the place is actually a hidden bar situated within Eco Palladium JB. To find it, go to Noble Floral Art studio where you’ll find the entrance in a very Narnia-like way. Once inside, the interiors are dark and seductive, with lots of fairy lights and ivy plants draped along the walls and tables.
They have creative gin-based cocktails that are fruity, creamy, or refreshing such as their Foggy Day, Angel’s Kiss, and Mi Amor. Signature cocktail options are changed regularly, providing their clientele with fresh and new creations every few months.

3. Haiiro Usagi
This reservation-only joint is a Japanese-inspired cocktail bar located along Jalan Maju – also called Reporter’s Street by locals. Craftsmanship takes centre stage here, and every tipple is concocted with great care by experienced mixologists.
You’ll be spoilt for choice with a wide selection of classic cocktails – highlights include their negroni, whisky sour, and Old Fashioned. For a more refreshing option, try their Peach Chu Hai made with Mugi shochu, peach vinegar, and topped with soda.

4. Cabinet 8 by JWC
For a classy date night, Cabinet 8 by JWC is an exquisite speakeasy that will elevate your experience with its warm, quirky, and inviting ambience. Located within walking distance from Sutera Mall, the bar is hidden at the back of The Bear & Fish Cafe and is run by La Maison Cointreau 2018 cocktail competition finalist, Justin Tay.
The interiors are IG-worthy with bright neon signs and retro Japanese decor. Despite being a Japanese bar, they feature lots of local flavours in their concoctions for guests who prefer some tropical elements. 5. 90 Tailor Bar
A retro-themed bar with a vintage Chinese-style interior and lots of plant life, 90 Tailor Bar is tucked away in a gym located on Jalan Pendekar. You’ll find heaps of antique-type props and features like rattan chairs, old sewing machines, and old-timey knick-knacks that will make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time.
If you’re wondering about the name, the bar not only serves yummy cocktails – guests can also rent tailored suites here for all kinds of occasions.
