Singapore Indoor Fitness Classes

Home workouts are great when you’re looking to save money without having to step out of the house to stay fit. But when your bed is an arm’s length away, that 10-minute workout may seem dreadfully long.

If you’re bored of your current workout routine, here are 12 boutique fitness classes you can join with your girlfriends.

For the cycling fanatic

1. CruCycle

CruCycle brings the concept of the ever-popular SoulCycle to Singapore. The 50-minute long workouts incorporate arm and abs exercises into the mix and the studio has a similar atmosphere to a club—dimly lit, with an upbeat soundtrack. They’ve got five classes a day, tailored to fit the schedule of office workers and various classes for different fitness levels. You’ll also be entitled to complimentary shoe rentals, towels, lockers and even fresh fruit. For the health-conscious, there’s a juice bar next door for your post-workout hydration.

Rates: From $50/2 classes for first-timers to $1800/50 classes (1 year validity)
Operating Hours: Mon to Fri 6:30am to 9.00pm, Sat 9.00am to 6.00pm, Sun 10.00am to 6.00pm

2. 7Cycle

The first in Singapore’s indoor cycling scene, 7Cycle provides cycling workouts and strength training exercises, such as kettlebell squats, TRX rows, and heavy rope training. Rates: From $25/class (30 days validity) to $200/10 classes (1 month validity)
Operating Hours: Mon to Sat 9.00am to 9.30pm

3. Anthem

Similar in concept to Crucycle, Anthem currently has two different 45-minute classes—Anthem 45, a full body workout incorporating upper body exercises and interval training, and Anthem Road, which gives riders a pure riding experience with terrain simulations. For the competitive types, their lessons are doubly fun because you can “race” with other riders in real time! Anthem’s perfect for those who are meticulous about tracking their fitness progress, as they track your performance and email you the amount of energy burnt per class.
