CruCycle brings the concept of the ever-popular SoulCycle to Singapore. The 50-minute long workouts incorporate arm and abs exercises into the mix and the studio has a similar atmosphere to a club—dimly lit, with an upbeat soundtrack. They’ve got five classes a day, tailored to fit the schedule of office workers and various classes for different fitness levels. Similar in concept to Crucycle, Anthem currently has two different 45-minute classes—Anthem 45, a full body workout incorporating upper body exercises and interval training, and Anthem Road, which gives riders a pure riding experience with terrain simulations. BBOUNCE offers quality rebound workouts on little trampolines. It may sound simple, but it’s not all cardio. By using weights and resistance bands, these workouts train your muscles as well. There are 5 class types; from BBOUNCE Lite for beginners to BBOUNCE Ultimo for advanced members. They claim to burn up to 500 calories an hour, so you know you’re in for a sweat fest!

Making up for the lack of surfable waves in Singapore, SURFSET makes participants exercise on custom-made surfboards. Focusing on core muscles, they use workouts to build muscles and tone the body. There are three workouts on the surfboard—SURFSET Balance, the prerequisite class to other classes, SURFSET Core, which focuses on sculpting your muscles, and SURFSET Sweat, which aims to increase your aerobic capacity.
