Since the release of the Sanrio mooncakes in August, Cheers and FairPrice Xpress are back with new merch to get the Hello Kitty hype going. This time round, Sanrio fans can get their hands on 4 adorable Hello Kitty plushies dressed as different occupations, with each design being released weekly across the timespan of a month.
From 16 November 2021 onwards, this Hello Kitty plushie wearing a sweet pink nurse outfit will be available. Reminding us of our frontline heroes who are working relentlessly during this pandemic, her outfit comes with a heart-designed cap and a matching pink bow.
In the following week from 23 November 2021, fans can collect this Hello Kitty police-themed outfit design. She dons a signature blue cop outfit with a cap, looking ready to fight for justice.
The Masterchef design will be launching from 30 November 2021 onwards, featuring Hello Kitty in a familiar chef outfit that frequent watchers of Masterchef might recognise. For those who enjoy cooking, now you can collect this plushie to be your sous-chef in the kitchen.
Lastly, this Cheers crew-member design is up for grabs from 7 December 2021 onwards. It features Hello Kitty in the iconic yellow and blue Cheers’ worker uniform, along with a matching blue bow to complete the look.
Each week from 16 November 2021, only 50 plushies in each design will be available at Cheers and FairPrice Xpress outlets islandwide. The Hello Kitty plushies can be purchased for $29.90 each or redeemed through a stamp collection system.
For every $5 spent at Cheers or FairPrice Xpress, customers will be entitled to 1 stamp. Redeem your Hello Kitty plushie when you collect 4 stamps with a top up of $19.90 or 6 stamps with a top up of $14.90.
As the plushies are only available while stocks last, locate your nearest Cheers outlet or FairPrice Xpress outlet to ensure that you can get yours ASAP before it sells out.
Cheers isn’t new to releasing kawaii collectibles for fans. Previously, the convenience store launched a Pokémon building blocks collection in celebration of their 23rd anniversary.
If you missed out on this merch, not to worry. Pokémon Center Singapore has recently launched a homeware collection with bowls and plates to zhng up the cuteness at home.
As the Hello Kitty craze continues in Singapore, we’re expecting these plushies to sell out quick. Hello Kitty fans can stay tuned to Cheers’ website for more upcoming updates about this collection.
